A Little Fall of Rain

Today its been raining nonstop. During our lovely thunderstorn we had a visitor trying to sell us some videos, which Avery saw as the perfect opportunity to run outside and play in the "showers." I couldn't help but laugh when I saw her and couldn't bring myself to make her come in. Lincoln and her had a GREAT time.

Avery wasn't too happy I was making her come inside for this last picture...but she was to the point where she was shivering uncontrollably so I decided it would be best to come in. But she had a fantastic time for about 15 minutes or so.

Tommy the Turtle

So we've had a little friend staying at our house for the last week or so. Avery and I were out playing by the pond and found this little guy. Avery hasn't been able to stop talking about him, wanting to hold him, or trying to take him for a walk. She is so happy this little turtle came into our lives.

She really is so happy about this turtle.

And here is a picture of Avery after she fell asleep with Greg's hat still on. Now did she have this hat on when she went to bed? Nope. She got out of bed, got it out of the closet, and put it on and fell asleep.
