Avery turned 2 on Friday so we had to take a few shots of the momentous occasion.
Party Time! Avery invited her family over for a little party. Grandma and Grandpa Hawes, Great Uncle Dan and Great Aunt Karen, Uncle Scott, Aunt Nicki, Lincoln, and Tyson all came to celebrate. They all got her amazing gifts which she absolutely loved. Great Uncle Dan and Great Aunt Karen got her a Baby Alive Doll that Avery can take in the bath tub with her. Grandma and Grandpa Hawes got her a Vikings jersey with a big pink sled and a fun inner tube. Aunt Nicki, Uncle Scott and cousins got her a University of Tennessee Jersery (!) and a Big Stuffed Nemo Fish. Greg and I got her a fun LeapFrog picnic basket, her own jump rope, some dress-up tutus, and fun hair stuff. Grandma and Granddaddy Turner got her a great Little People Castle. Avery was shocked as she opened each present. She couldn't believe all the fun toys she got.
Then it was time for cake. I decided to let Avery have her own mini cake this year. I made it in a large family size soup can and then decorated it with little roses.
Avery loved it.
She didn't even wait for a fork.
Avery had a great day and loved every second of her fun party. She's such a fun little girl.
