The Great Outdoors...

So last week we went outside to swing and chase the ducks (this is a daily activity at our house), but alas there weren't any ducks. However we did find this little guy.
Avery was absolutely fascinated. She saw it and started to follow it around. That turtle was pretty fast and she kept a safe 2 feet behind it for about 30 minutes. Then she started edging closer and closer. The turtle would try and turn around and run the other way but she kept on following.

She would get closer.
She took the hat off when she decided it was time to finally see what this guy really was all about. This is a shot of a fake out touch. She had to work up the courage to touch it. She had several false starts.

Finally! Contact!

Now that that was done, she grabbed her hat, surveyed the rough terrain...

And went in search of further adventures.

She's Getting So Big!

We've started. She's not getting it completely yet, but she understands the language of candy.

What's Wrong With This Picture?

Maybe they smelled?....At least she's helping right?

Mother's Day 2011

Here are some recent pictures of Avery and her mom.

Avery's new car seat makes her look so much smaller now...but she loves being a big girl.

Its A Beautiful Day!

It was a beautiful day and so we decided to take Avery out and let her play. She has fallen in love with her slide and playhouse. And now she's learned how to go up and down the ladder all by herself. She's quite the adventurous gal.

Avery found our friendly ducks and decided to try and make friends.

And here's how she can slide down all by herself.

Easter Dress Pictures

Easter-The Eggtastic Edition

The Easter Bunny came to visit Avery and left a basket filled with candy, a coloring book and crayons, some bubbles, and some pool toys. She was pretty happy about it.

He also left a bunch of colored eggs filled with jelly beans all around her room. So Avery had to find them all. However, once she figured out the eggs held jelly beans she wouldn't continue her search until she'd sampled half of the loot.

Owatonna,You Know You Wanna....

We decided to follow Greg on his last business trip to Owatonna. The awesome thing about the trip was, of course, the pool. Avery was pretty stoked about it as well.

However, Avery did get tired of me taking pictures. This is one of those shots.

The Zoobie...

Finally we've had some beautiful weather and so Avery and I decided to take advantage. On Thursday we loaded up into the car with Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Chris, and cousin Lincoln and headed out to the zoo.
